Blaze or Cutthroat hulls with burst captains, an aggressive formation, and a durable flagship. Skip damage-over-time entirely.

Does the PvE tier list apply to PvP?

No. Burst outranks sustained damage in PvP, which reverses much of the PvE ordering. See the hero tier list for the framework.

Why do I lose fights against similar power?

Usually formation or composition. Check that your front slot holds a durable ship and that you have burst rather than attrition damage.

Not for progression, but alliance war participation is where a lot of high-tier materials come from. Avoiding it entirely slows your flagship climb.

What happens if I lose ships?

Losses are recoverable but costly in time and materials. The cheapest PvP defence remains not being a target while offline.
