What are the damage types in Sea of Conquest?

Artillery, Cutthroat, Strategic, Blazing and Drowning. The first three are direct-damage identities; Blazing and Drowning are damage-over-time directions.

What is Gem Resonance?

A system added in update 1.1.790. Equipment fitted with the required Legendary Gems can unlock an active Resonance Skill that upgrades automatically when its requirements are met.

What matters more: Power or formation?

Both matter, but formation is the first diagnostic. A higher Power number can still lose if damage types, roles, parts and hero seats are incoherent.

Why does my strong hero underperform?

Check ship/damage matching, star level, role, skill cycle and whether the rest of the formation actually enables that hero's job.

Is Artillery good against sea monsters?

Usable, but Artillery's multi-target identity loses value against a single target. A more single-target/armour-focused setup can convert more of its kit.
