What is Boreas in Sea of Conquest?

The Season X1 buildable support hull — healing, bait and hybrid duty.

Do I really need a support ship?

Use support when healing, buffs or rage improve the complete fleet result. Judge that separately from any role-locked flagship position.

Umar for free-to-play, Linae if you can build her. Elizabeth Sheen is the noted First Mate pairing.

Green, for Critical Resistance. Yellow damage gems give zero benefit to heroes who deal no damage.

Boreas if you have reached Season X1; Primal Roar is the Season 3 option. The role matters more than the hull.

Rage is a shared pool, so rage acceleration raises your whole fleet's skill frequency — which beats a flat damage increase.
