What should I buy from the black market?

Hero shards for heroes you are actively promoting, gated materials blocking an upgrade, and trinket materials. Skip everything else.

Almost never. Stock is partly random and refreshes cost gold with no guarantee. The exception is a hard deadline with no other source.

The higher-grade variant, stocking better items at higher prices. Same buying rules apply, with more discipline needed.

Only against an active requirement you cannot farm in time. Speculative ingredient buying is a waste.

On a regular timer with free refreshes included. Missing an item is temporary — it returns.
